Two year olds
What to Expect
Two year olds are just beginning to explore their world. They are eager to learn and absorb new information as they play and discover. We are so excited to be a part of your child's early learning experience. Developing fine and gross motor skills in every aspect of our day will get our two year olds ready for Pre-Kinder 3.
Our two year olds will have a daily Jingle Jam music lesson! We will explore percussion instruments such as the piano, rhythmic sticks, shakers, bells, xylophones, drums, boom whackers and more! We will sing songs, learn fun dances and even learn basic note reading.
Our two year olds will have a weekly dance class included in tuition as well as dance time during our school day.! We will provide everything they need for school dance time. For their other dance class during the week parents will choose from our studio schedule.
Early literacy activities will consist of print motivation, print awareness, letter knowledge, vocabulary, phonological awareness and narrative skills.
Math activities will consist of counting, sorting, patterning, measuring and number recognition.
Science activities will consist of exploring nature, observing and doing basic experiments while using our five senses.
